Starting in version 1.4.0 and prior to version 1.6.1, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the `/proxy` route of txtdot allows remote attackers to use the server as a proxy to send HTTP GET requests to arbitrary targets and retrieve information in the internal network. Version 1.6.1 patches the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/TxtDot/txtdot/blob/a7fdaf80fdf45abefe83b2eb5135ba112142dc74/src/handlers/distributor.ts#L43-L47","https://github.com/TxtDot/txtdot/commit/f241a46e05b148a39b84bf956051b5aaa489949e","https://github.com/TxtDot/txtdot/security/advisories/GHSA-4c78-229v-hf6m","https://github.com/TxtDot/txtdot/blob/a7fdaf80fdf45abefe83b2eb5135ba112142dc74/src/handlers/distributor.ts#L43-L47","https://github.com/TxtDot/txtdot/commit/f241a46e05b148a39b84bf956051b5aaa489949e"],"products":["txtdot:txtdot"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:53:51.317825789+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-41813","score":0.00693,"percentile":0.52929,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
