Later, we use sscanf on this buffer but we don't\nensure that the string is terminated inside the buffer, this can lead to\nOOB read when using sscanf. Fix this issue by using memdup_user_nul\ninstead of memdup_user.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-787"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/06cb37e2ba6441888f24566a997481d4197b4e32","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0f560240b4cc25d3de527deb257cdf072c0102a9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1518b2b498a0109eb6b15755169d3b6607356b35","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6f0f19b79c085cc891c418b768f26f7004bd51a4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/80578ec10335bc15ac35fd1703c22aab34e39fdd"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:51:20.603330631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-36934","score":0.00311,"percentile":0.23727,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
