Callers need to\ntake care to handle these errors to avoid returning decrypted (shared)\nmemory to the page allocator, which could lead to functional or security\nissues.\n\nVMBus code could free decrypted pages if set_memory_encrypted()/decrypted()\nfails. Leak the pages if this happens.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.3},"cwes":["CWE-1258"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/03f5a999adba062456c8c818a683beb1b498983a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6123a4e8e25bd40cf44db14694abac00e6b664e6","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7f2afcbfe4f6b6047b5f68db5067b7321e5be125","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e813a0fc2e597146e9cebea61ced9c796d4e308f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/03f5a999adba062456c8c818a683beb1b498983a"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:51:20.603330631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-36913","score":0.00657,"percentile":0.51455,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
