Adding a\ncheck for hub == NULL prevents further problems.\n\nThe same bug exists in the disable_show() routine, and it can be fixed the\nsame way.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5f1d68ef5ddac27c6b997adccd1c339cef1e6848","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6119ef6517ce501fc548154691abdaf1f954a277","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/63533549ff53d24daf47c443dbd43c308afc3434","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a4b46d450c49f32e9d4247b421e58083fde304ce","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5f1d68ef5ddac27c6b997adccd1c339cef1e6848"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:51:20.603330631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-36896","score":0.00923,"percentile":0.60385,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
