A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the CalendarInvite feature of the Zimbra webmail classic user interface, because of improper input validation in the handling of the calendar header. An attacker can exploit this via an email message containing a crafted calendar header with an embedded XSS payload. When a victim views this message in the Zimbra webmail classic interface, the payload is executed in the context of the victim's session, potentially leading to execution of arbitrary JavaScript code.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/10.0.7#Security_Fixes","https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/9.0.0/P39#Security_Fixes","https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog?field_cve=CVE-2024-27443","https://www.welivesecurity.com/en/eset-research/operation-roundpress/"],"products":["zimbra:collaboration"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:53:51.317825789+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-27443","score":0.24606,"percentile":0.97884,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":{"cve":"CVE-2024-27443","date_added":"2025-05-19","due_date":"2025-06-09","vendor":"Synacor","product":"Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS)","known_ransomware":false},"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
