{"cve":"CVE-2024-27302","nvd":{"published":"2024-03-06T19:15:08.330","modified":"2026-06-17T07:19:36.433","status":"Analyzed","description":"go-zero is a web and rpc framework. Go-zero allows user to specify a CORS Filter with a configurable allows param - which is an array of domains allowed in CORS policy. However, the `isOriginAllowed` uses `strings.HasSuffix` to check the origin, which leads to bypass via a malicious domain. This vulnerability is capable of breaking CORS policy and thus allowing any page to make requests and/or retrieve data on behalf of other users. Version 1.4.4 fixes this issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-639"],"references":["https://github.com/zeromicro/go-zero/commit/d9d79e930dff6218a873f4f02115df61c38b15db","https://github.com/zeromicro/go-zero/security/advisories/GHSA-fgxv-gw55-r5fq","https://github.com/zeromicro/go-zero/commit/d9d79e930dff6218a873f4f02115df61c38b15db","https://github.com/zeromicro/go-zero/security/advisories/GHSA-fgxv-gw55-r5fq"],"products":["go-zero:go-zero"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:46:54.846886191+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-27302","score":0.00774,"percentile":0.55774,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-fgxv-gw55-r5fq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-fgxv-gw55-r5fq","summary":"Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in go-zero","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:10.507380539Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/zeromicro/go-zero","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/zeromicro/go-zero","ranges":["<1.4.4"],"fixed":["1.4.4"]}]},{"id":"GO-2024-2604","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2024-2604","summary":"CORS Filter bypass in github.com/zeromicro/go-zero","modified":"2024-05-20T16:03:47Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/zeromicro/go-zero","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/zeromicro/go-zero","ranges":["<1.4.4"],"fixed":["1.4.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
