This vulnerability allows attackers to change a victim's profile picture without their consent, potentially leading to a denial of service by overloading the filesystem with files. Additionally, this flaw can be exploited to perform a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the victim's browser session. The issue is resolved in version 9.3.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:H","score":8.3},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://github.com/parisneo/lollms-webui/commit/ed085e6effab2b1e25ba2b00366a16ff67d8551b","https://huntr.com/bounties/2a37ae0c-890a-401a-8f3c-a261f3006290","https://github.com/parisneo/lollms-webui/commit/ed085e6effab2b1e25ba2b00366a16ff67d8551b","https://huntr.com/bounties/2a37ae0c-890a-401a-8f3c-a261f3006290"],"products":["lollms:lollms_web_ui"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:51:20.603330631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-2288","score":0.00258,"percentile":0.17492,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
