Prior to 2.1.0, the default configuration of `@fastify/swagger-ui` without `baseDir` set will lead to all files in the module's directory being exposed via http routes served by the module. The vulnerability is fixed in v2.1.0. Setting the `baseDir` option can also work around this vulnerability.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-1188"],"references":["https://github.com/fastify/fastify-swagger-ui/commit/13d799a2c5f14d3dd5b15892e03bbcbae63ee6f7","https://github.com/fastify/fastify-swagger-ui/security/advisories/GHSA-62jr-84gf-wmg4","https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20240216-0002/","https://github.com/fastify/fastify-swagger-ui/commit/13d799a2c5f14d3dd5b15892e03bbcbae63ee6f7","https://github.com/fastify/fastify-swagger-ui/security/advisories/GHSA-62jr-84gf-wmg4"],"products":["smartbear:swagger_ui"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:43:38.875533635+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-22207","score":0.0229,"percentile":0.83228,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-62jr-84gf-wmg4","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-62jr-84gf-wmg4","summary":"Default swagger-ui configuration exposes all files in the module","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:04.794495794Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@fastify/swagger-ui","purl":"pkg:npm/%40fastify/swagger-ui","ranges":[">=2.0.0 <2.1.0"],"fixed":["2.1.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
