{"cve":"CVE-2024-13342","nvd":{"published":"2025-08-29T11:15:30.710","modified":"2026-09-26T21:10:00.130","status":"Analyzed","description":"The Booster for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the 'add_files_to_order' function in all versions up to, and including, 7.2.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files with double extensions on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. This is only exploitable on select instances where the configuration will execute the first extension present.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-434"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woocommerce-jetpack/tags/7.2.4/includes/class-wcj-checkout-files-upload.php#L452","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3262569/","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/5ac8a125-121c-4392-846e-625726043972?source=cve"],"products":["booster:booster_for_woocommerce"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:07:46.309729541+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-13342","score":0.00741,"percentile":0.54644,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
