The tracking server, which is single-threaded, can be made unresponsive by requesting it to connect to an unresponsive socket via sshfs. The lack of an additional timeout setting in the sshfs-client causes the server to hang for a significant amount of time, preventing it from responding to other requests.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.9},"cwes":["CWE-1088"],"references":["https://huntr.com/bounties/cdf8db79-c290-4fe5-9383-4c518bfba4a8","https://huntr.com/bounties/cdf8db79-c290-4fe5-9383-4c518bfba4a8"],"products":["aimstack:aim"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:17.429720821+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-12777","score":0.00483,"percentile":0.41625,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-v5pj-jrpv-h6g2","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-v5pj-jrpv-h6g2","summary":"Aim vulnerable to Synchronous Access of Remote Resource without Timeout","modified":"2026-07-07T17:56:16.957006599Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aim","purl":"pkg:pypi/aim","ranges":["<=3.25.0"],"fixed":[]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1095","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1095","summary":"Aim vulnerable to Synchronous Access of Remote Resource without Timeout","modified":"2026-07-07T17:46:18.176157588Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aim","purl":"pkg:pypi/aim","ranges":["<=3.25.0"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
