When request processing utilizes a Uni cached using @CacheResult and the cached Uni reuses the initial \"completion\" context, the processing switches to the cached Uni instead of the request context. This is a problem if the cached Uni context contains sensitive information, and could allow a malicious user to benefit from a POST request returning the response that is meant for another user, gaining access to sensitive data.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2023:7700","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-6393","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2253113","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-6393","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2253113"],"products":["redhat:build_of_quarkus"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:42:34.585441961+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-6393","score":0.00636,"percentile":0.50509,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xfv5-jqgp-vqhj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xfv5-jqgp-vqhj","summary":"Quarkus Cache Runtime exposes sensitive information to an unauthorized actor","modified":"2024-08-02T15:49:25.262550Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"io.quarkus:quarkus-cache","purl":"pkg:maven/io.quarkus/quarkus-cache","ranges":[">=3.3.0.CR1 <3.5.2"],"fixed":["3.5.2"]},{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"io.quarkus:quarkus-cache","purl":"pkg:maven/io.quarkus/quarkus-cache","ranges":[">=3.2.0.CR1 <3.2.9.Final"],"fixed":["3.2.9.Final"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
