When an OIDC app that serves multiple tenants attempts to access the second tenant, it should prompt the user to log in again since the second tenant is secured with a different OIDC configuration. The underlying issue is in OidcSessionTokenStore when determining if a cached token should be used or not. This logic needs to be updated to take into account the new \"provider-url\" option in addition to the \"realm\" option.\r\n\r\nEAP-7 does not provide the vulnerable provider-url configuration option in its OIDC implementation and is not affected by this flaw.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-345"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2024:3580","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2024:3581","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2024:3583","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-6236","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2250812"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:48:32.179249784+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-6236","score":0.00328,"percentile":0.25882,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jpmx-996v-48fm","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jpmx-996v-48fm","summary":"WildFly Elytron: OIDC app attempting to access the second tenant, the user should be prompted to log","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:12.883119876Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.wildfly.security:wildfly-elytron-http-oidc","purl":"pkg:maven/org.wildfly.security/wildfly-elytron-http-oidc","ranges":["<2.2.5.Final"],"fixed":["2.2.5.Final"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
