The existing implementation fails to\ncorrectly accommodate for all those variations, resulting in wrong\nchannel offset calculations and leading to kernel panics.\n\nRewrite dma_base_addr() in order to properly calculate channel offsets\nin a DMAC module. Fix dmaor_read_reg() and dmaor_write_reg(), so that\nthe correct DMAC module base is selected for the DMAOR register.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/196f6c71905aa384c0177acf194a1144d480333b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/479380acfa63247b5ac62476138f847aefc62692","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4989627157735c1f1619f08e5bc1592418e7c878","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8fb11fa4805699c6b73a9c8a9d45807f9874abe3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/bca700b48c72f4ffeee977a2ed0eb4a6b4b7b8ad"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:18:08.089039631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-54255","score":0.0021,"percentile":0.11218,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
