They can't be freed individually, because\nthey are allocated in page-sized groups. They need to be added to some\nfree list instead, such as io_buffers_cache. All callers already hold\nthe lock protecting it, apart from when destroying buffers, so had to\nextend the lock there.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ac48787f58d1068f4e06d627c1135784d64b4c72","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b4a72c0589fdea6259720375426179888969d6a2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c117c15927772d1624c29c092b6bd3f47c7faa48"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:17:07.138532058+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-54041","score":0.00193,"percentile":0.08961,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
