This could cause a\nmemory leak in the layoutget codepath if there is an error at an\ninopportune time.\n\nHave the compound processing engine always call op_release, even when\nop_func sets an error in op->status. With this change, we also need\nnfsd4_block_get_device_info_scsi to set the gd_device pointer to NULL\non error to avoid a double free.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-401"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/15a8b55dbb1ba154d82627547c5761cac884d810","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3d0dcada384af22dec764c8374a2997870ec86ae","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/65a33135e91e6dd661ecdf1194b9d90c49ae3570","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b11d8162c24af4a351d21e2c804d25ca493305e3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b623a8e5d38a69a3ef8644acb1030dd7c7bc28b3"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:08:41.295252406+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-53241","score":0.00159,"percentile":0.05037,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
