However, that might happen\nbefore the usb hub_event handler is able to notify the driver. This\npatch adds a sanity check before the invalid read reported by syzbot,\nwithin the context disconnection call stack.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2cf0005d315549b8d2b940ff96a66c2a889aa795","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/30773ea47d41773f9611ffb4ebc9bda9d19a9e7e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3233d8bf7893550045682192cb227af7fa3defeb","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/437b5f57732bb4cc32cc9f8895d2010ee9ff521c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/47aa8fcd5e8b5563af4042a00f25ba89bef8f33d"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:45:59.823092188+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-52445","score":0.00244,"percentile":0.15612,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
