A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the application, which allows an attacker to inject arbitrary values and forge malicious requests on behalf of a user. This vulnerability can allow an attacker to inject arbitrary values without any authentication, or perform various malicious actions on behalf of an authenticated user, potentially compromising the security and integrity of the application. The vulnerability is caused by improper validation and enforcement of CSRF tokens within the application. This issue has been addressed in version 2.50.0 and users are advised to upgrade. Users should take additional security measures like captchas or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and set Session cookies with SameSite=Lax or SameSite=Secure, and the Secure and HttpOnly attributes as defense in depth measures. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-352","CWE-565","CWE-807"],"references":["https://github.com/gofiber/fiber/commit/8c3916dbf4ad2ed427d02c6eb63ae8b2fa8f019a","https://github.com/gofiber/fiber/security/advisories/GHSA-94w9-97p3-p368","https://github.com/gofiber/fiber/commit/8c3916dbf4ad2ed427d02c6eb63ae8b2fa8f019a","https://github.com/gofiber/fiber/security/advisories/GHSA-94w9-97p3-p368"],"products":["gofiber:fiber"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:39:34.467980132+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-45128","score":0.00364,"percentile":0.30284,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-94w9-97p3-p368","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-94w9-97p3-p368","summary":"CSRF Token Reuse Vulnerability","modified":"2023-11-08T04:13:36.712052Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/gofiber/fiber/v2","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/gofiber/fiber/v2","ranges":["<2.50.0"],"fixed":["2.50.0"]}]},{"id":"GO-2023-2115","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2023-2115","summary":"CSRF token reuse vulnerability in github.com/gofiber/fiber/v2","modified":"2024-05-20T16:03:47Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/gofiber/fiber/v2","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/gofiber/fiber/v2","ranges":["<2.50.0"],"fixed":["2.50.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
