The location of these stored responses is constructed from the URL of the request. Due to insufficient sanitation of the URL, it is possible for an attacker to craft a URL that results in the response being stored outside of the directory specified for it.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-22","CWE-35"],"references":["https://nlnetlabs.nl/downloads/routinator/CVE-2023-39916.txt","https://nlnetlabs.nl/downloads/routinator/CVE-2023-39916.txt"],"products":["nlnetlabs:routinator"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:39:24.235896374+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-39916","score":0.00643,"percentile":0.50818,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-5rxf-fqch-7vqp","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-5rxf-fqch-7vqp","summary":"NLnet Labs’ Routinator vulnerable to path traversal","modified":"2025-10-03T15:12:28.493464Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"crates.io","name":"routinator","purl":"pkg:cargo/routinator","ranges":[">=0.9.0 <0.12.2"],"fixed":["0.12.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
