It advertises an irreversible feature for locking classes within Omnis libraries: it should be no longer possible to delete, view, change, copy, rename, duplicate, or print a locked class. Due to implementation issues, locked classes in Omnis libraries can be unlocked, and thus further analyzed and modified by Omnis Studio. This allows for further analyzing and also deleting, viewing, changing, copying, renaming, duplicating, or printing previously locked Omnis classes. This violates the expected behavior of an \"irreversible operation.\"","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-276"],"references":["http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/173696/Omnis-Studio-10.22.00-Library-Unlock.html","http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2023/Jul/42","http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2023/Jul/43","https://www.syss.de/fileadmin/dokumente/Publikationen/Advisories/SYSS-2023-006.txt","http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/173696/Omnis-Studio-10.22.00-Library-Unlock.html"],"products":["omnis:studio"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:38:35.729974749+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-38334","score":0.00881,"percentile":0.59147,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
