In version 4.2.0 and prior, there is a permission flaw in the Sealos billing system, which allows users to control the recharge resource account `sealos[.] io/v1/Payment`, resulting in the ability to recharge any amount of 1 renminbi (RMB). The charging interface may expose resource information. The namespace of this custom resource would be user's control and may have permission to correct it. It is not clear whether a fix exists.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/labring/sealos/security/advisories/GHSA-vpxf-q44g-w34w","https://github.com/labring/sealos/security/advisories/GHSA-vpxf-q44g-w34w"],"products":["sealos:sealos"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:38:30.124994567+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-36815","score":0.00549,"percentile":0.45958,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-vpxf-q44g-w34w","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-vpxf-q44g-w34w","summary":"Sealos billing system permission control defect","modified":"2023-11-08T04:12:59.062881Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/labring/sealos","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/labring/sealos","ranges":["<=4.2.0"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
