If you used the apiPrefilter option of the `@Entity` decorator, by setting it to a function that returns a filter that prevents unauthorized access to data, an attacker who knows the `id` of an entity instance is not authorized to access, can gain read, update and delete access to it. The issue is fixed in version 0.20.6. As a workaround, set the `apiPrefilter` option to a filter object instead of a function.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":6.3},"cwes":["CWE-284"],"references":["https://github.com/remult/remult/commit/6892ae97134126d8710ef7302bb2fc37730994c5","https://github.com/remult/remult/releases/tag/v0.20.6","https://github.com/remult/remult/security/advisories/GHSA-7hh3-3x64-v2g9","https://github.com/remult/remult/commit/6892ae97134126d8710ef7302bb2fc37730994c5","https://github.com/remult/remult/releases/tag/v0.20.6"],"products":["remult:remult"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:38:30.124994567+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-35167","score":0.00546,"percentile":0.45779,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-7hh3-3x64-v2g9","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-7hh3-3x64-v2g9","summary":"When setting EntityOptions.apiPrefilter to a function, the filter is not applied to API requests for a resource by Id","modified":"2026-09-10T03:49:53.848594269Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"remult","purl":"pkg:npm/remult","ranges":["<0.20.6"],"fixed":["0.20.6"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
