Prior to versions 5.0.157, 5.0-b1, and 6.0.48, SRS's `api-server` server is vulnerable to a drive-by command injection. An attacker may send a request to the `/api/v1/snapshots` endpoint containing any commands to be executed as part of the body of the POST request. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). Versions 5.0.157, 5.0-b1, and 6.0.48 contain a fix.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-77","CWE-78"],"references":["https://github.com/ossrs/srs/blob/1d11d02e4b82fc3f37e4b048cff483b1581482c1/trunk/research/api-server/server.go#L761","https://github.com/ossrs/srs/commit/1d878c2daaf913ad01c6d0bc2f247116c8050338","https://github.com/ossrs/srs/security/advisories/GHSA-vpr5-779c-cx62","https://github.com/ossrs/srs/blob/1d11d02e4b82fc3f37e4b048cff483b1581482c1/trunk/research/api-server/server.go#L761","https://github.com/ossrs/srs/commit/1d878c2daaf913ad01c6d0bc2f247116c8050338"],"products":["ossrs:simple_realtime_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:38:24.161619714+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-34105","score":0.08689,"percentile":0.95128,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
