This is due to missing nonce validation in the 'createTempAccountLink' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a new user with administrator role via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. An attacker can leverage CVE-2023-2545 to get the login link or request a password reset to the new user's email address.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/feather-login-page/trunk/features/inc/admin/expirable-login-link.php?rev=2612332#L206","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/12560b8e-9c47-4f7f-ac9c-d86f17914ba3?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/feather-login-page/trunk/features/inc/admin/expirable-login-link.php?rev=2612332#L206","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/12560b8e-9c47-4f7f-ac9c-d86f17914ba3?source=cve"],"products":["featherplugins:feather_login_page"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:38:24.161619714+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-2549","score":0.00331,"percentile":0.26342,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
