This is due to missing nonce validation on the gmace_manager_server function called via the wp_ajax_gmace_manager AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify arbitrary files and achieve remote code execution via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/gmace/trunk/gmace.php?rev=1583327#L84","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/gmace/trunk/inc/filemanager.php?rev=1583319#L27","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/826b3913-9a37-4e15-80fd-b35cefb51af8?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/gmace/trunk/gmace.php?rev=1583327#L84","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/gmace/trunk/inc/filemanager.php?rev=1583319#L27"],"products":["gmace_project:gmace"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:37:48.383111019+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2023-1509","score":0.00594,"percentile":0.48429,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
