Attackers can exploit unsanitized input passed to the otp_check.sh script to achieve remote code execution with web server privileges. Exploitation requires knowledge of a valid username and that the target account has MOTP authentication enabled.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.2},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-78"],"references":["https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-2960/older-firmware/firmware-1514?task=download.send&id=2597:readme-v2960-1514&catid=1251","https://www.draytek.com/about/newsroom/2021/2021/end-of-life-notification-vigor2960","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/draytek-vigor-2960-os-command-injection-via-mainfunction-cgi"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-50994","score":0.01432,"percentile":0.73051,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
