If your firmware\nis untrusted realistically there is probably very little you can do to\nprotect yourself. Still we try to limit the damage as much as possible.\nAlso Smatch marks any data read from the filesystem as untrusted and\nprints warnings if it not capped correctly.\n\nThe \"ntohl(ucode->code_length) * 2\" multiplication can have an\ninteger overflow.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-190"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/172c8a24fc8312cf6b88d3c88469653fdcb1c127","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2526d6bf27d15054bb0778b2f7bc6625fd934905","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/371fa5129af53a79f6dddc90fe5bb0825cbe72a4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3a720eb89026c5241b8c4abb33370dc6fb565eee","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/584561e94260268abe1c83e00d9c205565cb7bc5"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:08:41.295252406+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-50330","score":0.00164,"percentile":0.05573,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
