However, mc->root_mc_bus_dev is already freed in\nfsl_mc_device_remove(). Then reference to mc->root_mc_bus_dev->mc_io\ntriggers KASAN use-after-free. To avoid the use-after-free, keep the\nreference to mc->root_mc_bus_dev->mc_io in a local variable and pass to\nfsl_destroy_mc_io().\n\nThis patch needs rework to apply to kernels older than v5.15.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/161b68b0a728377aaa10a8e14c70e7734f3c9ff7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/720ab105df7bf3eee62d2bddd41526b29d07d045","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/928ea98252ad75118950941683893cf904541da9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ccd1751092341ac120a961835211f9f2e3735963"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:59:48.811064707+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-49711","score":0.00275,"percentile":0.19954,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
