We must call ->destroy function of the object.\n\nnft_obj_destroy does this, but it also decrements the module refcount,\nbut the update path doesn't increment it.\n\nTo avoid special-casing the update object release, do module_get for\nthe update case too and release it via nft_obj_destroy().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-401"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/34bb90e407e3288f610558beaae54ecaa32b11c4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/53026346a94c43f35c32b18804041bc483271d87","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7e9880e81d3fd6a43c202f205717485290432826","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/dad3bdeef45f81a6e90204bcc85360bb76eccec7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e96e204ee6fa46702f6c94c3c69a09e69e0eac52"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:54:16.205165117+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-48933","score":0.0021,"percentile":0.11174,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
