This flaw exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in LTI provider library. The library does not utilise Moodle's inbuilt cURL helper, which resulted in a blind SSRF risk. An attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["http://git.moodle.org/gw?p=moodle.git&a=search&h=HEAD&st=commit&s=MDL-71920","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2142775","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/2DHYIIAUXUBHMBEDYU7TYNZXEN2W2SA2/","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/74SXNGA5RIWM7QNX7H3G7SYIQLP4UUGV/","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/NLRJB5JNKK3VVBLV3NH3RI7COEDAXSAB/"],"products":["fedoraproject:extra_packages_for_enterprise_linux","fedoraproject:fedora","moodle:moodle"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:37:28.463369388+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-45152","score":0.0147,"percentile":0.73766,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
