{"cve":"CVE-2022-43704","nvd":{"published":"2023-01-20T17:15:10.823","modified":"2026-06-17T05:07:10.487","status":"Modified","description":"The Sinilink XY-WFT1 WiFi Remote Thermostat, running firmware 1.3.6, allows an attacker to bypass the intended requirement to communicate using MQTT. It is possible to replay Sinilink aka SINILINK521 protocol (udp/1024) commands interfacing directly with the target device. This, in turn, allows for an attack to control the onboard relay without requiring authentication via the mobile application. This might result in an unacceptable temperature within the target device's physical environment.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":5.9},"cwes":["CWE-294"],"references":["https://www.trustwave.com/en-us/resources/blogs/spiderlabs-blog/cve-2022-43704-capture-replay-vulnerability-in-sinilink-xy-wft1-thermostat/","https://www.trustwave.com/en-us/resources/blogs/spiderlabs-blog/cve-2022-43704-capture-replay-vulnerability-in-sinilink-xy-wft1-thermostat/"],"products":["sinilink:xy-wft1_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:37:34.931465858+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-43704","score":0.01888,"percentile":0.79531,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
