In affected versions requesting invalid or non-existing resources via HTTP triggers the page error handler which again could retrieve content to be shown as an error message from another page. This leads to a scenario in which the application is calling itself recursively - amplifying the impact of the initial attack until the limits of the web server are exceeded. Users are advised to update to TYPO3 version 11.5.16 to resolve this issue. There are no known workarounds for this issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-770"],"references":["https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/commit/179dd7cd78947081d573fee2050e197faa556f13","https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/security/advisories/GHSA-fffr-7x4x-f98q","https://typo3.org/security/advisory/typo3-core-sa-2022-006","https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/commit/179dd7cd78947081d573fee2050e197faa556f13","https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/security/advisories/GHSA-fffr-7x4x-f98q"],"products":["typo3:typo3"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:35:14.992143698+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-36104","score":0.01613,"percentile":0.7598,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
