{"cve":"CVE-2022-35918","nvd":{"published":"2022-08-01T22:15:10.223","modified":"2026-06-17T04:52:31.127","status":"Modified","description":"Streamlit is a data oriented application development framework for python. Users hosting Streamlit app(s) that use custom components are vulnerable to a directory traversal attack that could leak data from their web server file-system such as: server logs, world readable files, and potentially other sensitive information. An attacker can craft a malicious URL with file paths and the streamlit server would process that URL and return the contents of that file. This issue has been resolved in version 1.11.1. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/streamlit/streamlit/commit/80d9979d5f4a00217743d607078a1d867fad8acf","https://github.com/streamlit/streamlit/security/advisories/GHSA-v4hr-4jpx-56gc","https://github.com/streamlit/streamlit/commit/80d9979d5f4a00217743d607078a1d867fad8acf","https://github.com/streamlit/streamlit/security/advisories/GHSA-v4hr-4jpx-56gc"],"products":["snowflake:streamlit"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:34:18.502168378+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-35918","score":0.01767,"percentile":0.78091,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-v4hr-4jpx-56gc","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-v4hr-4jpx-56gc","summary":"Streamlit directory traversal vulnerability","modified":"2023-11-08T04:09:52.554382Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"streamlit","purl":"pkg:pypi/streamlit","ranges":[">=0.63.0 <1.11.1"],"fixed":["1.11.1"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2022-248","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2022-248","summary":"","modified":"2023-11-08T04:09:52.554382Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"streamlit","purl":"pkg:pypi/streamlit","ranges":[">=0.63.0 <1.11.1"],"fixed":["1.11.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
