{"cve":"CVE-2022-35917","nvd":{"published":"2022-08-01T22:15:10.157","modified":"2026-06-17T04:52:31.000","status":"Modified","description":"Solana Pay is a protocol and set of reference implementations that enable developers to incorporate decentralized payments into their apps and services. When a Solana Pay transaction is located using a reference key, it may be checked to represent a transfer of the desired amount to the recipient, using the supplied `validateTransfer` function. An edge case regarding this mechanism could cause the validation logic to validate multiple transfers. This issue has been patched as of version `0.2.1`. Users of the Solana Pay SDK should upgrade to it. There are no known workarounds for this issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-670"],"references":["https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/blob/master/SPEC.md#reference","https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/blob/master/core/src/validateTransfer.ts","https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/commit/ac6ce0d0a81137700874a8bf5a7caac3be999fad","https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/security/advisories/GHSA-j47c-j42c-mwqq","https://github.com/solana-labs/solana-pay/blob/master/SPEC.md#reference"],"products":["solanalabs:pay"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:34:18.502168378+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-35917","score":0.00866,"percentile":0.58716,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-j47c-j42c-mwqq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-j47c-j42c-mwqq","summary":"Solana Pay Vulnerable to Weakness in Transfer Validation Logic","modified":"2023-11-08T04:09:52.493322Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@solana/pay","purl":"pkg:npm/%40solana/pay","ranges":["<0.2.1"],"fixed":["0.2.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
