This issue affects Apache UIMA Apache UIMA version 3.3.0 and prior versions. Note that PEAR files should never be installed into an UIMA installation from untrusted sources because PEAR archives are executable plugins that will be able to perform any actions with the same privileges as the host Java Virtual Machine.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/11/03/4","https://lists.apache.org/thread/57vk0d79j94d0lk0vol8xn935yv1shdd","http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/11/03/4","https://lists.apache.org/thread/57vk0d79j94d0lk0vol8xn935yv1shdd"],"products":["apache:uimaj"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:37:08.729216836+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-32287","score":0.02076,"percentile":0.81477,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xgqr-5wqw-9fpv","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xgqr-5wqw-9fpv","summary":"Apache UIMA Path Traversal vulnerability","modified":"2023-11-08T04:09:36.086661Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.apache.uima:uimaj-core","purl":"pkg:maven/org.apache.uima/uimaj-core","ranges":["<3.3.1"],"fixed":["3.3.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
