Versions 2.12 and prior contain a stack buffer overflow vulnerability that affects PJSUA2 users or users that call the API `pjmedia_sdp_print(), pjmedia_sdp_media_print()`. Applications that do not use PJSUA2 and do not directly call `pjmedia_sdp_print()` or `pjmedia_sdp_media_print()` should not be affected. A patch is available on the `master` branch of the `pjsip/pjproject` GitHub repository. There are currently no known workarounds.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-787","CWE-120","CWE-121"],"references":["https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/commit/560a1346f87aabe126509bb24930106dea292b00","https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/security/advisories/GHSA-f5qg-pqcg-765m","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/03/msg00035.html","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/11/msg00021.html","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/08/msg00038.html"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","teluu:pjsip"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:29:06.454770966+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-24764","score":0.02376,"percentile":0.83868,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
