Users that use cross-origin communication may have their communications intercepted. Impact is limited by the communication occurring in the same browser. This issue has been patched in sysend.js version 1.10.0. The only currently known workaround is to avoid sending communications that a user does not want to have intercepted via sysend messages.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-346","CWE-200"],"references":["https://github.com/jcubic/sysend.js/commit/a24f4b776fb18191ae0f7e3d90c2c7bec459431a","https://github.com/jcubic/sysend.js/issues/33","https://github.com/jcubic/sysend.js/releases/tag/1.10.0","https://github.com/jcubic/sysend.js/security/advisories/GHSA-4vvg-x86p-mvqc","https://github.com/jcubic/sysend.js/commit/a24f4b776fb18191ae0f7e3d90c2c7bec459431a"],"products":["sysend.js_project:sysend.js"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:29:06.454770966+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2022-24762","score":0.00684,"percentile":0.52577,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4vvg-x86p-mvqc","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4vvg-x86p-mvqc","summary":"Leaking of user information on Cross-Domain communication in sysend","modified":"2023-11-08T04:08:35.613992Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"sysend","purl":"pkg:npm/sysend","ranges":["<1.10.0"],"fixed":["1.10.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
