Note this bug was\nintroduced as part of a fix to ensure we didn't rely on the ordering\nof child nodes. So we need to support arbitrary ordering but they all\nneed to be there somewhere.\n\nNote I hit this when using qemu to test the rest of this series.\nArguably this isn't the best fix, but it is probably the most minimal\noption for backporting etc.\n\nAlexandru's sign-off is here because he carried this patch in a larger\nset that Jonathan then applied.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-120"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/26da8040eccc6c6b0e415e9a3baf72fd39eb2fdc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f2a772c51206b0c3f262e4f6a3812c89a650191b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f49149964d2423fb618fb6b755bb1eaa431cca2c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f70122825076117787b91e7f219e21c09f11a5b9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/26da8040eccc6c6b0e415e9a3baf72fd39eb2fdc"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:47:51.568503435+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2021-47172","score":0.00225,"percentile":0.13214,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
