In PJSIP before version 2.11.1, there are a couple of issues found in the SSL socket. First, a race condition between callback and destroy, due to the accepted socket having no group lock. Second, the SSL socket parent/listener may get destroyed during handshake. Both issues were reported to happen intermittently in heavy load TLS connections. They cause a crash, resulting in a denial of service. These are fixed in version 2.11.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.9},"cwes":["CWE-362"],"references":["https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/commit/d5f95aa066f878b0aef6a64e60b61e8626e664cd","https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/pull/2716","https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/releases/tag/2.11.1","https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/security/advisories/GHSA-cv8x-p47p-99wr","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/03/msg00035.html"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","teluu:pjsip"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:21:13.713336758+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2021-32686","score":0.02065,"percentile":0.81381,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
