{"cve":"CVE-2021-32646","nvd":{"published":"2021-05-28T18:15:07.493","modified":"2026-06-17T03:53:20.470","status":"Modified","description":"Roomer is a discord bot cog (extension) which provides automatic voice channel generation as well as private voice and text channels. A vulnerability has been discovered allowing discord users to get the ``manage channel`` permissions in a private VC they have joined. This allowed them to make changes to or delete the voice channel they have taken over. The exploit does not allow access or control to any other channels in the server. Upgrade to version 1.0.1 for a patched version of the cog. As a workaround you may disable private VCs in your guild(server) or unload the roomer cog to render the exploit unusable.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-287"],"references":["https://github.com/Dav-Git/Dav-Cogs/commit/fbe2ae8ec851a2e9e3e2370db3b812f268e8c8cb","https://github.com/Dav-Git/Dav-Cogs/security/advisories/GHSA-3f73-8j6q-28v8","https://github.com/Dav-Git/Dav-Cogs/commit/fbe2ae8ec851a2e9e3e2370db3b812f268e8c8cb","https://github.com/Dav-Git/Dav-Cogs/security/advisories/GHSA-3f73-8j6q-28v8"],"products":["dav-cogs_project:dav-cogs"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:18:09.669877188+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2021-32646","score":0.007,"percentile":0.53193,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
