This security advisory relates to a newly discovered capability in our query infrastructure to directly or indirectly expose the values of private fields, bypassing the configured access control. This is an access control related oracle attack in that the attack method guides an attacker during their attempt to reveal information they do not have access to. The complexity of completing the attack is limited by some length-dependent behaviors and the fidelity of the exposed information. Under some circumstances, field values or field value meta data can be determined, despite the field or list having `read` access control configured. If you use private fields or lists, you may be impacted. No patches exist at this time. There are no workarounds at this time","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://github.com/keystonejs/keystone-5/security/advisories/GHSA-27g8-r9vw-765x","https://github.com/keystonejs/keystone-5/security/advisories/GHSA-27g8-r9vw-765x"],"products":["keystonejs:keystone-5"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:18:09.669877188+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2021-32624","score":0.00864,"percentile":0.58653,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-27g8-r9vw-765x","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-27g8-r9vw-765x","summary":"Private Field data leak","modified":"2026-07-08T06:27:51.609858428Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@keystonejs/keystone","purl":"pkg:npm/%40keystonejs/keystone","ranges":["<=19.3.2"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
