{"cve":"CVE-2020-6879","nvd":{"published":"2020-11-19T17:15:13.420","modified":"2026-06-17T03:23:58.037","status":"Modified","description":"Some ZTE devices have input verification vulnerabilities. The devices support configuring a static prefix through the web management page. The restriction of the front-end code can be bypassed by constructing a POST request message and sending the request to the creation of a static routing rule configuration interface. The WEB service backend fails to effectively verify the abnormal input. As a result, the attacker can successfully use the vulnerability to tamper parameter values. This affects: ZXHN Z500 V1.0.0.2B1.1000 and ZXHN F670L V1.1.10P1N2E. This is fixed in ZXHN Z500 V1.0.1.1B1.1000 and ZXHN F670L V1.1.10P2N2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":3.5},"cwes":["CWE-20"],"references":["http://support.zte.com.cn/support/news/LoopholeInfoDetail.aspx?newsId=1013922","http://support.zte.com.cn/support/news/LoopholeInfoDetail.aspx?newsId=1013922"],"products":["zte:zxhn_f670l_firmware","zte:zxhn_z500_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:11:20.317016139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-6879","score":0.00688,"percentile":0.52721,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
