When the response is cached, this can prevent the use of the website by other users. This has been patched in versions 4.4.7 and 5.0.7.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-435"],"references":["https://github.com/symfony/symfony/commit/dca343442e6a954f96a2609e7b4e9c21ed6d74e6","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/security/advisories/GHSA-mcx4-f5f5-4859","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/C36JLPHUPKDFAX6D5WYFC4ALO2K7RDUQ/","https://symfony.com/blog/cve-2020-5255-prevent-cache-poisoning-via-a-response-content-type-header","https://github.com/symfony/symfony/commit/dca343442e6a954f96a2609e7b4e9c21ed6d74e6"],"products":["sensiolabs:symfony"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:03:08.679916934+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-5255","score":0.01297,"percentile":0.70389,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
