The vulnerability is due to improper enforcement of role-based access control (RBAC) within the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to modify parts of the configuration. The modified configuration could either allow unauthorized devices onto the network or prevent authorized devices from accessing the network. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid Read-Only Administrator credentials.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.7},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ise-auth-bypass-uJWqLTZM","https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ise-auth-bypass-uJWqLTZM"],"products":["cisco:identity_services_engine"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:09:53.489947993+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-3467","score":0.00881,"percentile":0.59137,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
