A remote attacker can passively record push notification events which are sent over an insecure web request. The web service does not authenticate requests, and allows attackers to send an indefinite amount of motion or doorbell events to a user's mobile application by either replaying or deliberately crafting false events.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:H","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-294"],"references":["https://cloud.binary.ninja/embed/26671c64-6859-48fb-b58e-af35dc982b35","https://gist.github.com/tj-oconnor/dbfbef4d3b271d53fefbd24e1f0024f0","https://cloud.binary.ninja/embed/26671c64-6859-48fb-b58e-af35dc982b35","https://gist.github.com/tj-oconnor/dbfbef4d3b271d53fefbd24e1f0024f0"],"products":["nightowlsp:smart_doorbell_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:20:07.141963181+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-28713","score":0.01359,"percentile":0.71705,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
