{"cve":"CVE-2020-15152","nvd":{"published":"2020-08-17T22:15:12.627","modified":"2026-06-17T02:56:09.253","status":"Modified","description":"ftp-srv is an npm package which is a modern and extensible FTP server designed to be simple yet configurable. In ftp-srv before versions 2.19.6, 3.1.2, and 4.3.4 are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery. The PORT command allows arbitrary IPs which can be used to cause the server to make a connection elsewhere. A possible workaround is blocking the PORT through the configuration. This issue is fixed in version2 2.19.6, 3.1.2, and 4.3.4. More information can be found on the linked advisory.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/autovance/ftp-srv/commit/e449e75219d918c400dec65b4b0759f60476abca","https://github.com/autovance/ftp-srv/security/advisories/GHSA-jw37-5gqr-cf9j","https://www.npmjs.com/package/ftp-srv","https://github.com/autovance/ftp-srv/commit/e449e75219d918c400dec65b4b0759f60476abca","https://github.com/autovance/ftp-srv/security/advisories/GHSA-jw37-5gqr-cf9j"],"products":["ftp-srv_project:ftp-srv"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:09:20.498348299+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-15152","score":0.01859,"percentile":0.79228,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jw37-5gqr-cf9j","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jw37-5gqr-cf9j","summary":"Server-Side Request Forgery in ftp-srv","modified":"2026-09-10T03:48:51.656866510Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ftp-srv","purl":"pkg:npm/ftp-srv","ranges":[">=1.0.0 <2.19.6"],"fixed":["2.19.6"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ftp-srv","purl":"pkg:npm/ftp-srv","ranges":[">=3.0.0 <3.1.2"],"fixed":["3.1.2"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ftp-srv","purl":"pkg:npm/ftp-srv","ranges":[">=4.0.0 <4.3.4"],"fixed":["4.3.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
