The allows to inject arbitrary data having a valid cryptographic message authentication code and can lead to remote code execution. To successfully exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must have access to at least one `Extbase` plugin or module action in a TYPO3 installation. This is fixed in version 7.6.5 of the \"mediace\" extension for TYPO3.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-200","CWE-325","CWE-502"],"references":["https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/commit/fa29ffd3e8b275782a8600d2406e1b1e5e16ae75","https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/pull/31","https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/security/advisories/GHSA-4h44-w6fm-548g","https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/commit/fa29ffd3e8b275782a8600d2406e1b1e5e16ae75","https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/pull/31"],"products":["typo3:mediace"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:06:22.076270124+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-15086","score":0.03556,"percentile":0.89322,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
