This is in contrast to its intended documented behavior, to fail the certificate verification. Applications that fail to provide the server identity, including Balsa before 2.5.11 and 2.6.x before 2.6.1, accept a TLS certificate if the certificate is valid for any host.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-295"],"references":["https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/balsa/-/issues/34","https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib-networking/-/issues/135","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/HLEX2IP62SU6WJ4SK3U766XGLQK3J62O/","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/LRCUM22YEWWKNMN2BP5LTVDM5P4VWIXS/","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/TQEQJQ4XFMFCFJTEXKL2ZO3UELBPCKSK/"],"products":["broadcom:fabric_operating_system","canonical:ubuntu_linux","fedoraproject:fedora","gnome:balsa","gnome:glib-networking","netapp:cloud_backup"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:05:42.039641217+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2020-13645","score":0.0202,"percentile":0.80947,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
