Protection was added, to address CVE-2019-9848, to block calling LibreLogo from document event script handers, e.g. mouse over. However LibreOffice also has a separate feature where documents can specify that pre-installed scripts can be executed on various global script events such as document-open, etc. In the fixed versions, global script event handlers are validated equivalently to document script event handlers. This issue affects: Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.2.6.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-20"],"references":["http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00006.html","http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00067.html","http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/154168/LibreOffice-Macro-Python-Code-Execution.html","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/10/msg00005.html","https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/PMEGUWMWORC3DOVEHVXLFT3A5RSCMLBH/"],"products":["canonical:ubuntu_linux","debian:debian_linux","fedoraproject:fedora","libreoffice:libreoffice","opensuse:leap"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:58:39.700375520+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2019-9851","score":0.77837,"percentile":0.99571,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
