Few e-mail servers validate TLS certificates, so it is easy for man-in-the-middle attackers to read these e-mails and gain access to Pagure on behalf of other users. This issue is found in the API token expiration reminder cron job in files/api_key_expire_mail.py; disabling that job is also a viable solution. (E-mailing a substring of the API key was an attempted, but rejected, solution.)","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":5.9},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://pagure.io/pagure/c/9905fb1e64341822366b6ab1d414d2baa230af0a","https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/4230","https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/4252","https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/4253","https://pagure.io/pagure/pull-request/4254"],"products":["redhat:pagure"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:54:46.948512734+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2019-7628","score":0.00901,"percentile":0.59699,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
