Combined with another vulnerability, it can be used to leak stack memory and bypass ASLR. This attack appear to be exploitable via network connectivity. These vulnerabilities have been fixed in commit d01e1bb4246323ba6fcee3b82ef1faa9b1dac82a.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-665"],"references":["http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-05/msg00027.html","http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-07/msg00073.html","https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-390195.pdf","https://github.com/LibVNC/libvncserver/commit/d01e1bb4246323ba6fcee3b82ef1faa9b1dac82a","https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/10/msg00039.html"],"products":["canonical:ubuntu_linux","debian:debian_linux","libvnc_project:libvncserver","siemens:simatic_itc1500_firmware","siemens:simatic_itc1500_pro_firmware","siemens:simatic_itc1900_firmware","siemens:simatic_itc1900_pro_firmware","siemens:simatic_itc2200_firmware","siemens:simatic_itc2200_pro_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T20:59:25.448946135+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2019-15681","score":0.02906,"percentile":0.86975,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
